Magic Internet Finance: Overview
On this page
Magic Internet Finance (MIFI) is a Solana project made of three parts that fit together: a plain SPL token called MIFI, a collection of NFTs called Internet Wizards, and a shared revenue pool called the Mana Pool. Anyone holding 100,000 MIFI can lock it to conjure a Wizard. Each Wizard is a transferable Metaplex Core NFT with its own on-chain vault, and every active Wizard receives an equal share of the protocol revenue that actually arrives, paid in SOL and then, at the owner's choice, kept as SOL or swapped into tokenized BTC or more MIFI. Sell the Wizard and its vault travels with it; dispel the Wizard and its assets come back to you. This page is the map. The rest of the guide fills in the details.
Trade the money. Become the wizard.
Contract address#
MIFI mint (Solana mainnet):
E8joTkkktp4H5oMiCrX1vsYTKB9QkTq1ByMaNwQ7mifi— announced, not live yet. The account does not exist on mainnet until the token is created at launch; nothing at this address can be bought or traded before then, and there is no presale, airdrop or early access. Devnet test token (tMIFI, worthless, devnet only):K2Gh93B73zKUn8ijE64jwaLnww4TmdCX6zkw1gd8jPa. Full detail and the live status chip: The MIFI Token.
The official mint address is published only in three places: this site (magicinternet.finance), the project repository (github.com/MidTermDev/mifi) and the X account @MagicInternetFi. Anything in a chat, a direct message, a reply, a search ad or a look-alike token is not MIFI. See Official channels.
MIFI in one sentence#
Lock 100,000 MIFI to conjure a unique Internet Wizard. Its vault accumulates a share of actual protocol revenue as SOL, tokenized Bitcoin, or more MIFI. Sell the Wizard with its vault, or dispel it to redeem its assets.
If you remember one line, remember the conversion: 100,000 MIFI ⇄ 1 Wizard. It works in both directions, and the 100,000 MIFI stays in your Wizard's vault until you dispel.
The three parts#
| Part | What it is | What you do with it | Read more |
|---|---|---|---|
| MIFI (the token) | An ordinary SPL token: 6 decimals, 1,000,000,000 total supply, no transfer tax, no rebasing. It launches on Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve with a flat 3% trading fee and migrates to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool with a 3% LP fee, both collected in SOL. | Buy it, hold it, trade it, or lock 100,000 of it into a Wizard. | The MIFI Token |
| Internet Wizards (the NFTs) | Transferable Metaplex Core NFTs. Each has a unique serial, a unique character, and its own vault holding 100,000 MIFI plus whatever the Wizard has accumulated. | Conjure one, choose its spell, hold it, sell it with its vault, or dispel it to get the assets back. | Internet Wizards: Conjure, Own, Dispel, Wizard Art: How Your Internet Wizard Gets Its Look |
| The Mana Pool (the revenue) | Where protocol revenue lands: a share of MIFI trading fees, conjure fees, and any Wizard royalties that are actually collected. Split equally per active Wizard, in SOL. | Nothing, mostly. It fills as activity happens; your Wizard's share appears as pending SOL until its spell runs. | The Mana Pool, Spells |
How it fits together#
- Buy MIFI. Trade SOL for MIFI on the launch venue or, after migration, on the DAMM v2 pool.
- Conjure Wizard. Lock exactly 100,000 MIFI, pay a SOL action fee plus account rent, pick a spell, and receive a Wizard NFT with a fresh serial and its own vault.
- Wait for Mana. When revenue reaches the protocol, every active Wizard is credited one equal share as SOL. Your Wizard's share shows up as pending SOL. Wizards are patient.
- Spells run. A keeper (or you) executes your Wizard's spell: keep the SOL, swap it for the configured tokenized BTC asset, or swap it for more MIFI. Whatever comes out sits in your Wizard's vault.
- Hold, sell, or dispel. Transfer or sell the Wizard and the whole vault goes with it. Dispel it and you get back exactly 100,000 MIFI plus everything else in the vault; that Wizard is retired for good.
Names you will see in the app#
Humor lives in the names. The numbers underneath them are exact.
| Name | What it means |
|---|---|
| Buy MIFI | Acquire MIFI with SOL on the live trading venue. |
| Conjure Wizard | Lock 100,000 MIFI and mint a new Internet Wizard with its own vault. |
| My Wizards | Your owned Wizards: portrait, serial, spell, exact vault balances, pending Mana, and an estimated NAV. |
| Dispel Wizard | Permanently retire a Wizard and receive its vault contents. The serial and character are never reissued. |
| The Mana Pool | The revenue pool. Shows what has actually been received, what has been allocated, and what is still waiting on the venue. |
| Internet Wizards | The NFT collection name. |
| Orange Spell / Sol Spell / Infinity Spell | The three ways a Wizard treats its SOL share: swap to tokenized BTC, keep as SOL, or swap to MIFI. |
| Spell Round | A keeper processing batch. It is when swaps happen, not when you become entitled to revenue. |
| Wizard #1842 | How a Wizard is named: by serial. Serials count up forever and are never reused, even after a dispel. |
Key numbers#
Some numbers are fixed by the design. Others are proposed launch defaults that may be adjusted, within bounds, once real costs have been measured. The status column tells you which is which.
| Setting | Value | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Token supply | 1,000,000,000 MIFI | Fixed |
| Token decimals | 6 | Fixed (read from the mint) |
| Collateral per Wizard | 100,000 MIFI | Fixed; immutable after launch |
| Maximum simultaneous Wizards | 10,000, constrained by available collateral | Derived upper bound |
| Reward weight | One active Wizard = one share | Fixed |
| Trading fee during the bonding curve | 3%, flat for the whole bond (no decay, no dynamic fee), collected in SOL | Fixed |
| Post-migration LP fee | 3%, collected in SOL | Fixed |
| Protocol liquidity after migration | 100% of the migrated liquidity, one position owned by the protocol, permanently locked | Fixed |
| Orange Spell asset | cbBTC (Coinbase Wrapped BTC, cbbtcf3aa214zXHbiAZQwf4122FBYbraNdFqgw4iMij); custodial, with an issuer freeze authority, disclosed in the app | Fixed at launch |
| Conjure action fee | 0.05 SOL, split 80% Mana / 20% protocol | Proposed launch default |
| Dispel action fee | 0 SOL (network and account costs still apply) | Proposed launch default |
| Marketplace royalty | 5%, advisory, 100% to Mana when collected | Proposed launch default |
| Spell execution trigger | 10 SOL of aggregate unprocessed Mana, or a periodic scan | Proposed scheduler default |
Full detail, including rent and what is refundable on dispel, is in Internet Wizards: Conjure, Own, Dispel.
Where rewards come from#
Every lamport in the Mana Pool has a source, and the app shows the sources separately:
- Conjure fees come from new conjures. If nobody conjures, this source is zero.
- Trading fees come from MIFI trading against the protocol's liquidity position. If nobody trades, this source is zero.
- Royalties come from Wizard resales on marketplaces that honor advisory royalties. Many do not; never assume a resale paid one.
- Direct deposits are SOL anyone chooses to send to the reserve. They are shared like any other receipt but labeled as deposits, never as trading revenue.
Two things to keep straight:
- Receipt-time entitlement. Fees earned on the trading venue are not MIFI revenue until they are claimed and ingested by the protocol. Your Wizard's share is determined by which Wizards are active when the SOL actually arrives, not when the trade happened. A Wizard conjured after a deposit lands gets none of that deposit, including its own conjure fee.
- No spell has a multiplier. All three spells receive the same SOL entitlement for the same period. What differs is what the SOL is turned into, and at what execution price.
There are no APY figures in this guide or in the app, because there is nothing honest to put there. Rewards depend entirely on actual activity. See The Mana Pool.
Official channels#
| Channel | Where | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| The site | https://magicinternet.finance (devnet app: https://devnet.magicinternet.finance) | The app, this guide, the contract address with its live/not-live status |
| The repository | https://github.com/MidTermDev/mifi | Source code, deployment records, this documentation |
| X | @MagicInternetFi | Launch announcements and the contract address |
The official mint address is published only on the site, in the repository and on this X account. No other account, channel, group or person speaks for MIFI. The address is posted on X only after the mint exists on mainnet and the site's Token card reads "Live"; until then the site and this guide say "announced, not live yet".
Who this is for#
- People who want a MIFI position that can accumulate SOL, tokenized BTC, or MIFI from real protocol revenue, when there is revenue, without lending it out or leveraging it.
- People who like the idea of a position being a character. A Wizard is both a collectible and the container for the money inside it.
- Traders who want an NFT whose backing is readable on-chain and redeemable, rather than priced on vibes alone. The market price and the estimated NAV can still differ; the app shows both.
- Anyone comfortable with a Solana wallet, SOL for fees, and the fact that token prices move in both directions.
What MIFI is not#
- Not lending, not leverage. Your 100,000 MIFI principal is never lent, borrowed against, or used for swaps. No admin, keeper, or swap instruction can spend it.
- Not governance (in the MVP). There is no voting token or DAO. Parameter changes are bounded admin actions, disclosed in the project's authorities documentation.
- Not a launchpad, raffle, quest system, or rarity game. Cosmetic traits, serials, age, and art stages never change reward weight.
- Not native Bitcoin. The Orange Spell buys a tokenized representation of BTC on Solana: cbBTC, issued by Coinbase, shown in the app with its issuer, mint, and decimals. It is custodial and the issuer holds a freeze authority. It is not BTC in a Bitcoin wallet.
- Not a guaranteed yield. If activity stops, revenue stops. Vault assets remain redeemable, but their market prices can fall.
- Not affiliated with any previous "Magic Internet Money" project, any Bitcoin organization, or any exchange. MIFI is a new project inspired by the internet wizard aesthetic.
- Not audited yet. An independent review of the program is on the launch checklist and has not been completed. Passing tests are not an audit.
A note on the artwork#
Every Wizard's character is composed deterministically from its on-chain identity, and no structural identity is ever issued twice, even after a dispel. During development the app renders a prototype asset bank, drawn to prove the system rather than to be the finished collection. Prototype art is labeled as prototype wherever it appears. See Wizard Art: How Your Internet Wizard Gets Its Look, which also covers the cosmetic stages.
